"Take it easy...just crack and twist the shell up"

That was what my husband said when I complained about how I keep getting eggshells in my egg. He spends more time in the kitchen now, "helping" me with the recipes Ive always wanted to try. We were making breakfast and he told me to break the eggs in a bowl first before I dump it in the frying pan, but somehow I was all thumbs that day and the little shells seemed to stick to the egg whites.

I was down to our last egg that day...and carefully I managed to make a clean crack on the egg and twisted the shells ever so gently...Oh my...I cried out with glee...because look at what turned up on my last egg...





A double egg yolk!

First time I  saw one, and all I wanted to do was marvel at how this chicken made this double yolk...amazing! Then my stomach grumbled and I knew I had to cook it somehow...so I made this instead...errr...with my husband's help of course :) Sorry I wasn't able to take a picture of it...it was so good.
