its a food, craft and clothes market

Saturday saw the start of a fabulous new market in Hout Bay called the ‘Bay Harbour Market’ . Its located at the far end of the harbour past Snoekies in an old warehouse that has been converted into a permanent trading area with fixed stalls.  Its all undercover so perfect for summer and winter.

Its buzzing and festive with live music throughout the day.

James Blomeris who writes the blog ‘Blompot‘ sells flame grilled organic lamb sandwiches in fresh ciabatta which are heavenly.  My friends ate his pies and said they were awesome.

This is a little about what the rest of the market looks like:Drizzle and Dip

  1. I really do envy you frequenting all these amazing markets, we do not have much of that in Joburg & if we do–then i am unaware of them. Lovely post. Tried your potato dish and it was a hit!!
