Well now!! I am totally inspired ladies! This kitchen Diva is gonna brave complete and utter culinary humiliation on Saturday morning and BAKE A CARROT CAKE! Tricky Ricky is off on a Man-Day with son – brothers in law and nephs to go and play golf – Oh how I DO LOVE that meaningless game sometimes. It a rare occasion when I get the whole house to myself …….. oh the peace and quietness of it all!!!
The scene will have to be set – gotta get them juices flowing – sooooo, with my favourite Italian Cooking music from “Rocco’s Dolce Vita” cranked up – I will celebrate the even with a bottle of Pierre Laforest – Vougeot (which has BUBBLES whooohooo) – a gift from Karen’s recent trip to their cellar in France – I shall dance myself into a cullinary trance! With bare feet – stripped naked - ALL THE WINDOWS AND DOORS SHALL BE CLOSED – i shall tie the obligatory rope around my waist and go boldly forth where no naked Diva cook hath dare before go!!!!!!! It’s Sexy apron time!
I will place all 12 of the fabulous tried-and-tested – never going to fail – “this one rises like a Hover Craft” Nina – recipes in my favourite designer handbag (my ONLY designer handbag!!!) and blindfolded, pick THE ONE out!!! Bolster my courage with one or more glasses of bubbly and reach new cullinary heights – and bake. I Looooooove the sound of that – I am going to bake.
