Fast cars and fabulous food

Hi everyone,
Have you ever driven an Audi? Well I hadn’t until a little while ago and I’m in gear-shifting love!
We powered up with some other foodies (and wheelies) and va-va-voomed our way out to Bouchard-Finlayson for some delicious lunch made by the new chef at The 12 Apostles.
Check out this baby – I drove her at 180km/hr…. it was seriously F.A.S.T.
When we arrived at Bouchard Finlayson, we were greeted by the man himself Peter Finlayson for some beautiful Pinot Noir (as is to be expected from this famed winemaker) and other delicious wines.
Fantastic food followed and we enjoyed a gracious lunch in the homestead from chef Henrico Grobbelaar from The 12 Apostles.
Venison carpaccio

Apple crumble
Ok, how gorgeous do they look? Well, they tasted even better.
I must say that now I really look at the Audi’s on the road now and want want want one! Hey, no point in dreaming right?

Audi’s rock! My dad has had one all his life. I even owned one a couple of years ago, it was an older model… so old I called it a tank, but it drove like a dream. When you shift up the whole bonnet lifted up…it was crazy cool! I am and will alwys be a fan and my dreacar is a red Audi TT.
The food looks wicked!! Inspiration on a plate…. sounds like you had an awesome time!

Never give up dreaming…..
My hubby had Audi’s for many years whe he worked in the corporate world and Audi is still our favourite car to drive and we will always aspire to owning one again! It may or may not happen…in the meanwhile Nissan rocks our world hehe…it just takes me a heck of a lot longer than 4 1/4 hours to get to Plett these days
