I love avocadoes for its versatility. It can be combined with so many other ingredients of which bacon and feta is still a firm favourite. It goes well with seafood such as tuna, salmon, crab, shrimps and prawns.
It is also great as a vegetarian dish and can be combined with a variety of vegetables, fruit and herbs. I enjoy combining avocadoes with strawberries and basil.
This avocado tartare is easy to make and it looks great. It can be served as a light lunch or as a starter.
