Rich Chocolate Milo Ice cream
December 4, 2012 in Uncategorized
I think it’s fairly easy to tell when summer has hit the country when bloggers start putting up homemade ice cream posts. Again it seems to indicate that we share one mind (or the uni-mind like the little green men in Toy Story) as we seem to put similar posts up without realizing it. Have a look at Food and the Fab’s latest post if you don’t believe me
I finally caved and bought an ice cream machine last week and I’ve been having a ball experimenting and playing with it. I played by the rules the first time making an egg custard base before adding Milo to the mix while churning but last night I decided to make a creamy strawberry milkshake using fresh strawberries and placing that in the churn. I will let you know how it turns out when I take it out of the freezer tonight.
