Boozy Bar One Milkshake

We are in the middle of a heatwave in Cape Town and the worst thing about the heat is the fact that I can’t sleep as the temperature continues to hover around 25 degrees celcius even in the middle of the night with the windows open and the fan at full blast (which, if you follow me on Twitter, will know scares the cat which means she sleeps next to my head to get as far away from it as possible).
The last thing you feel like doing when its so hot is to turn on the oven to bake something but, I hinted at a blog post a day for the whole week that I am on vacation from work so here we are…a boozy milkshake that will definitely “bring the boys to the yard”…and since I used homemade rum n raisin ice cream you might attract boys like Captain Jack Sparrow

I’m not a milkshake fan but Himself and Princess G love them! that looks decadent.

Thx for the comment Sue. Yes, it certainly is decadent and it went down a treat after the heatwave yesterday. It had just enough booze to make you forget how hot you were feeling
