Homemade Play Doh
26 April 2012 in Easy to prepare
My dudes have excess grandparents due to divorce on both sides of the family, so before they were born I decided that I would be ‘different’ from the others and declared that I would be known as Supagran. It turned out that the dudes couldn’t get the hang of Supagran and they simply call me Supa! I love it when I am out with them and they want to show me something “look Supa look” *grin*
Now I know you are looking at the pic of the homemade Play Doh and thinking that I made it for the dudes, wrong! I made it for a hen party I am going to on Saturday…..if you are in the Midlands watch out for a bus full of shrieking women! *wonders what we will be making with the doh?*
2 cups cake flour
2 cups salt
2 cups hot water
2 TBSP sunflower oil
2 TBSP cream of tartar
Food colouring
Put all the ingredients except the colouring into a large pan over a low heat and mix until if forms a stiff dough, Mine came together very quickly.
Make a hole in your dough and add a few drops of colouring and knead (best you wear rubber gloves) or do what I did and knead in a mixer using the dough hook.
This will make two balls of dough

I can only imagine, SC.
That Hen party should be hilarious. I don’t think I could cope.
I remember that Supagran was my first commenter when I started blogging. If you hadn’t, I might have given up. xxx

I’m taking my camera so you might get to see what we make, providing it’s not x-rated!
In a way I miss blogging as Supagran, but I felt she had run her course.

Your dudes are lucky – have a supa who is a great cook and also great sense of humour. Clever with the play dough – the hens will luv this – will be interesting to see what they come up with. Have a wonderful long weekend, Sue.
