I’ve briefly covered how to make fake caviar in a previous post, using Sodium Alginate and a calcium bath.
But what if you don’t have those chemicals and still want to do something?
Well never fear, Agar agar is here, or at least it’s still an easier option. The only down side is that that your spheres will be set all the way through and not liquid in the centre. It all comes down to what you want to do with it.
